Spy's Demise

The spy

The story

Back in the eighties I had a C64 and played a lot of games. One of them was Spy's Demise from Penguin Software — a simple game where you can only move left or right and ride elevators between floors, trying not to get caught by the other spies while gathering items in the building.

So… I thought it was a good project to learn Java in Google's Android Studio 2.0. This is the result: a new game for Android, once available free on the Play Store, with the same gameplay plus a few extras — a gun, an invisible coat and fast running shoes

The hardest part was drawing all the pieces of the moving spy. 🙂 It's pretty obvious that I'm not a graphic designer. lol 😄

Maybe you can still install it, try it out and see how far you get. The final level is 21, with funny random teleportation. 😄

The 3D idea

I once had the idea to make it 3D, but never started development. Maybe now, with Unity and AI, I can do a quick one in my spare time. 😉
